For the Living Areas
1- Organize your cords using toilet paper rolls
Found on Our Thrifty Ideas
Don’t throw those empty tubes of toilet paper rolls just yet. Decorate it with some washi tape, which you can get from your local stationery store or order it online HERE.
2- This Gameboard Storage is awesome!
Found on Infarrantly Creative
Seriously! That’s so, so clever! I mentioned in another post how much importance we put into our game nights as a family. Beckie, at Infarrantly Creative, shows you exactly how to do it. I love, love, love it!
For the Kitchen
3- Use a cake stand to keep your sink organized
Found on Clean & Scentisible
I have the same sitting (or should I say, standing) on my kitchen sink. I found a pretty cake stand in pink from a local thrift shop during one of my treasure hunting missions. Because I don’t normally have cakes to serve – I decided to hit two birds with one stone, by displaying it by the sink and standing my hand soap and ring holder on it. Perfect!
4- Use baskets to organize your pantry
I see heaps of pantry organization hacks, but sometimes it seems almost impossible to do and I get really frustrated. Here are some simple and totally doable pantry organization hacks for you to try.
Found on Classy Clutter
5- Use a filing rack to organize your baking pans
Found on Driven By Decor
6- DIY your own utensil rack using easy to find material
Found on Grillo Designs
If you’ve got some DIY blood in you, then this should be an easy task! Just imagine how organized your kitchen would look ♥
FOR THE BATHROOM
7- Hanging baskets for a small bathroom
Found on Be Different Act Normal
This is such a clever idea for a small bathroom. Bathrooms in New Zealand are so small – but there are baskets galore at the Dollar Stores! The best part is that you get to customise it to suit your preferences.
8- DIY Towel Storage
Found on Making Lemonade
Or you can make one of these. Carrie, over at Making Lemonade, shows you a tutorial on how to make these handy floating baskets.
So there you have it! Happy hacking! ♥
