Instant Pot Recipes You Need to Try Right Now
When I first got my pressure cooker, I didn’t know what to expect. The only memory I had of using a pressure cooker was of me freaking out when the pressure was released through a shrill and loud whistle. That was back then – in the days of the manual pressure cooker. So I was prepared to give it a go. I tried out many recipes, and these instant pot recipes are the best I’ve had so far – and if you are looking for new recipes… you need to try them out right now!

There are heaps of pressure cookers out there. I think the most common one at the moment is the Instant Pot. But really – they all do the same thing. These ones are those that have been tried and tested ✔️✔️

Instant Por Baby Back Spare Ribs. One word for this – YUM! This was a huge success in our home. My husband loves pork and he was all over these babies!
This was one of the first instant pot recipes I ever tried. Before this, I really didn’t know what to do with pork. It definitely hit the mark. Even the children enjoyed it.
I love this recipe so much. Seriously! Instant Pot Pasta! Once you get the method down to pat, you can pretty much do any other kind of pasta dish with it. Having perfected this recipe, I now use it to make a good Bolognese.
This was a beautiful soup. So comforting and filling – but not in a nasty way. I’ve made this about 3-4 times now, and it’s never let me down.
I enjoyed this recipe a lot. The children loved the cauliflower mash – so it’s a win in my book. Getting them to eat veggies without complaining is definitely a bonus!
I tried this recipe when my husband was going to be home late. I wanted to make burgers but didn’t know how to work the outdoor grill. But I was certain that I wanted some char on the burgers! So I decided to give it a crack in the pressure cooker. Everything I’ve made in the Instant Pot has been so good – I was eager to try this. It certainly worked and we got some really nice, juicy burgers! I’m not sure if it’s my go-to burger recipe – it is quite fiddly with having to individually wrap the burgers, but I’m not saying ‘no’ to it completely!
